All flowers and grasses picked on the North and South Islands of New Zealand, mostly wildflowers.
 
I spent several weeks in New Zealand in December, the beginning of their summer. My husband and I had gone with our two boys who were graciously willing to take time out of their busy adult lives to travel with us. I'm afraid they grew tired of my stopping on our many walks to identify or pick flowers and plants, but they kindly indulged me. When they couldn't stand the stopping and starting anymore, they went ahead, leaving me to meander at my leisure.  I gathered these flowers and grasses along streams or in the mountains.
